Mara Attacks the Bodhisattva…Buddha-to-be, Gautama

Mara Attacks the Bodhisattva...Buddha-to-to Gautama

“Mara” the “Evil One” attempts to “steal” the most often stollen possession of all time; attention. He wishes to confound the Mind, but his various tactics are impenetrable once they contact the Buddha Field… flaming arrows turn into flowers, and his naked daughters do not distract the Samadhi of the Buddha’s Meditation, Mindfulness, his Aura, his field of energy that nullifies lower energies.

  1. I have been waiting for your return _/|\_

I like this post. It is simple yet important. Is this from some historical text, or is this your own?

I have been thinking about this very thing of late. I notice that when I practice mindfulness, the myriad of distractions and temptations not only lose their power, but take on new forms. Like a man who is being irritable with me becoming an opportunity to exercise love and bring a smile to both our faces.

I look forward to more, Jeff🙂

    • Thank you, truly, I honored and humbled.
You raise a great point about just how malleable “the world” is…, or more accurately, how our perception dictates our reality.
Please, keep it up! Keep turning the world into a better, more loving place. One smile at a time!🙂 _/|\_

  2. I love your blog! It’s a great blend of things Buddha-related. Thanks for adding my article to your post!
